The eagerly anticipated official launch of The Village, an exciting new property development within the spectacular Valle Romano resort, brought with it a host of sporting celebrities to Estepona.

Marbella has long been celebrated as the jet-set resort in Southern Spain, but this launch proved that Estepona is hot on its heels. The two-day launch event incorporated a series of star-studded events including a celebrity golf tournament, football match and a glittering launch party. Celebrities such as model Nell McAndrew, football stars past and present including Paul Robinson, Aaron Lennon, Ian Ferguson, Jimmy Case, Mark Hateley and Michael Brown, and Sky Sports presenters Jeff Stelling, Clare Tomlinson and Rob Wotton showed their support for The Village by attending the glamorous party at top Estepona venue, Puro Beach.
The evening of the launch party commenced with representatives from the Costa del Sol’s leading property companies attending a champagne reception in the spectacular, newly built clubhouse at Valle Romano. Sky Sports’ Jeff Stelling and Clare Tomlinson presented The Village to the assembled agents and media, with Jeff emphasising what the endorsement of leading UK football clubs means to this project by explaining, “….they would never put their name to something unless they felt it represented a level of quality and investment security that they were 100% happy with.”

Celebrities showing their backing for the project by purchasing properties include Paul Robinson, Fulham Captain Michael Brown, Blackburn’s David Bentley and Irish Captain Ian Harte. Paul Robinson explained why the development appealed to him.“The Village is going to be the ultimate place to train and relax, a development I am really excited to be part of. The difference it offers me is the balance between being able to train on one of the football pitches, practice my swing on the golf course and relax by the pool with my family.”
